Our Purpose
The mission of Sno-Isle Libraries is to be a community doorway to reading, resources, and lifelong learning, and a center for people, ideas, and culture.
What We're Doing And Ways You Can Get Involved
Sno-Isle Libraries is soliciting community input regarding library facilities and needs through the year 2025.
A community meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 25th at 4:30 p.m. in the Freeland Library meeting room. It will include the members of the Freeland Library Friends as well as Sno-Isle staff and trustees.
Through the Freeland Community Meeting the hope is to hear from the Freeland community about what kind of library facilities they would like to see in their community. Now is the time to give your input. What are your thoughts? With the growth taking place what kind of facilities would you like for future library building needs and services? Would you like more people space to enjoy the library, a larger collection, more parking, more public use computers, a larger meeting room, or ????
A citizens’ advisory board will be appointed from participants of the community meetings, and that board will work with staff and the Sno-Isle Board of Trustees to sift through public feedback and incorporate it into a facilities plan for the library district.
If you would like to be part of these activities or learn more about the Freeland Library Community Group, email Joanne Harmon.
